Multicultural High School serves students new to the United States who are learning English. We believe native languages, cultures, and families are instrumental in creating authentic, collaborative experiences for all within our school community. Students will use what they learn at Multicultural High School to become successful academically and professionally; advocating for themselves, their families and their community.
Multicultural High School serves students new to the United States who are learning English. We are proud to be located at the Franklin K. Lane Campus, serving the surrounding Brooklyn and Queens neighborhoods. Our students learn to read, write, and communicate fluently in English while we provide opportunities for them to master their native language.
Our school is a Transitional Bilingual Education Program which gradually introduces English into the Instructional Program. The student body is 93% ESL with a 100% Spanish-Speaking population.

With school programs like Career Day, Voter Education, and our annual science fair we ensure that our students are constantly engaged.
