02 May Multicultural High School students are ‘STEM-ming out of the classroom
On March 21, Multicultural High School, located on the Queens-Brooklyn border, took 20 of its LACREA students to the BuildingsNY Convention at the Jacob Javits Center. The purpose of this trip was to enhance the school’s STEM program by giving students a first-hand insight into all aspects of commercial real estate in New York City.
At the convention center, students had the opportunity to meet with various people in the field ranging from suppliers of construction appliances (air conditioners, boilers, heaters, etc.) to the CEOs of various industries in Manhattan.
